Quantitative Research

Here you can find examples of my quantitive papers that I have completed over the course of my graduate education. This includes my most significant work done in Econometrics, Multinational Corporate Finance, Quantitative Global Economics, and Risk Analysis & Modeling classes. The five papers include gathering and analyzing data from various databases with the help of technical programs like Excel, STATA, and Tableau to produce the results and visualizations. The last two files contain a ppt presentation on current account sustainability and the Excel file of my semester-long project in Risk Analysis class about the best actions for a rail-based company to take to expand their business.

My project for Risk Analysis class answered a question how best to expand in the next ten years. To do that I conducted a deep qualitative and quantitative research like balance sheet analysis and utilizing techniques like macros learned in class to do financial modeling and forecasts. This included projecting variables like expected volume, costs, and revenues among others and using visualization methods like histograms, scatter plots, and columns to answer the question. The Excel file below is a short version that does not contain all the graphs I made.

I saved it in a different format so there might be a message that the file is corrupted but it is just a shorter version of the original file. You can click on link to download the file and see a screenshot of the Summary tab to get a general idea of the work in case the Excel file does not work for some reason.
